You know us, we’re always looking for ways to keep things fun and interesting.
That’s what led us to decide that our regular old business card was getting a little boring and come up with the idea for the Bone Adventure trade card.
Did you know that at one point in American history trade cards were among the most popular forms of advertisement? From roughly the 1880s through the turn of the century an American public enamored with new color printing technology made collecting trade cards and pasting them into albums one of the most popular pastimes of the day. The Baker Library at Harvard has a great exhibit of trade cards that you can view online here.
We drew inspiration from this rich past and brought it into the present.
Shortly after our trade card was released we noticed that it was disappearing surprisingly fast, and that’s when we realized: you were collecting it. Originally envisioned as a one-time design, you made our idea even better and the Bone Adventure collectible card was born.
We are now on our third design, and if you’ve collected all three they are going to come in very handy this week.

Love your trading cards! But I only have the 2nd card. How can I get the new one? I live out of town and always stop in to shop when I come to the Cities with Joker on our way to visit Gear Running Store. Our next trip is not until Oct 29th when we do Monster Dash at Lake Harriet.
